A family-friendly festival inspired event is coming to Dubai in November.
No longer restricted to an 18+ audience, the United Arab Emirate’s (UAE) first “family-friendly rave” is an event that will touch down at the Steigenberger Hotel in Business Bay on November 11. Called “Party Monsters,” the initiative materializes as a grass-roots collaboration music and activities designed for the enjoyment families, from the youngest to oldest member.
Local and international level DJs will take the decks at Party Monsters to deliver mixes rife with different genres, including club classics, house music, drum & bass, and more. Party Monsters seeks to keep sound levels at a lower measure, ensuring safety for all attending children. Party Monsters will fer an arts and crafts area, face-painting, balloon animals, and baby changing and feeding stations to accommodate families and children alike. There will also be a baby sensory dance floor equipped with bubble machines, parachutes, pompoms, and balloons in the St Play Chill Out Zone designed for infants and toddlers. The area will be outfitted with an additional ball pool, tents, and tunnels for play.
The launch theme Party Monsters will be “Jungle Friends,” fering guests the chance to come dressed in theme.
“Drawing on our collective experience as new parents and veteran promoters within the nightlife industry in the region, we saw an opportunity to start something different for families much like our own,” said Tim Woodstock Party Monsters. Woodstock is a founder Party Monsters, sharing ownership with Vip Patel. Heralded as the “champion” the drum & bass genre in the UAE, Woodstock is also notable for his status as the founder Bassworx.
“We’ve paid attention to detail and given a lot thought to what our audience would like in an afternoon to unwind and listen to good music from back in the day, and better yet, share it with their families,” Woodstock remarked.
