Afrojack has been floating in between pop and electronic over the past few years, filling his release schedule with vocal-less mainstage crowd energizers and radio crossover releases. The Dutch producer is back with a release that falls within the former, and fans are certain to keep dancing thanks to his new track, “Bassride.”
“Bassride” is the second release from Afrojack’s forthcoming EP, titled Press Play. The track is bouncy in nature with light chords that dance into energetic synths layered on top of one another. The first release from the EP, titled “Step Back,” was another release manufactured for live performance with an energetic bassline. If the two tracks are indicative of what should be expected of the EP as a whole, Afrojack’s live sets will certainly be kicked up a notch with all of this new material.
