The party czar himself, Flux Pavilion, has teamed up with Eliminate to incite some weekend ruckus on a brand new track, “Party Starter,” out on his co-founded Circus Records with Doctor P.
“Party Starter” showcases Flux’s all-encompassing affinity for bass music across the spectrum, fitting screechy dubstep-nodding bass into an exquisitely maddening trap composition. While a hazy, melodic intro casts an air of obscurity over the track, the drop’s rhythmic bass punches dispel any ambiguity.
Flux was one of the most fervent envelope-pushers around the 2012 era dubstep renaissance, championing game-changing tracks like “I Can’t Stop,” which remains one of the most used outros to festival sets in the electronic scene worldwide. Today, he continues to pioneer the bass genre, showing that artistry is still going strong within an often misinterpreted sound.
