The summer of 2018 has been Gryffin‘s stomping ground, with killer performances at both weekends of Electric Forest, a hit collaboration with Quinn XCII, and a dreamy July release on “Just For a Moment” featuring Iselin. Now, it seems there’s no stopping the LA-based producer, dishing out some future bass on his new track, “Tie Me Down” with Elley Duhé.
Gryffin starts it off with some light drum combos, echoing synth scales, and occasional guitar notes, leading into a melodic drop that allows listeners to pay close attention to Duhé’s dreamy vocals. The single is simply beautiful, with an array of production elements that make it a high contender as the next electronic track to break as a mainstream hit.
Gryffin will hit the decks at Electric Zoo‘s Brownies & Lemonade stage Sept. 2, just a day after joining Gramatik and his crew at Red Rocks Sept. 1.
