EI8GHT is the newest label venture by longtime friends Eats Everything and Andres Campo. They chose Avision to kick off this new chapter, and the
New York mainstay in turn delivered a hard-hitting and aptly titled, Work It Out EP. Its middle track “Jumpin’” follows the exercise motif. It’s fast-paced and driving, encouraging heavy movement on the floor retro synth stabs, acid squelches, and cymbal hits. Listeners can easily hear the classic New York sound Avision was brought up in while listening and bouncing along.
Furthermore, “Jumpin’” and the rest of Avision’s Work It Out mark a choice launch point for EI8GHT, which was founded with the mindset of producing forward-thinking and timeless techno. Keep eyes on the label as it begins to flourish under Eats Everything and Andres Campo’s guidance.
