Grime lord Skepta teases a new album

UK’s veteran of grime and MC selekta, Skepta is back in 2019 with not only a recent feature alongside Octan on their single ‘Bet‘, but now the fresh announcement of a full length LP.

The news broke on Instagram with the rapper revealing both the album title (Ignorance Is Bliss) and date (31st of May) for the launch of the new body of work.

‘Ignorance Is Bliss’ is our first taste of Skepta since his hotly acclaimed ‘Konnichiwa’ album that most famously featured the abrasive and widely received single ‘Shut Down’ and won BRIT Awards ‘Album of the year’. It’s also going to be the first time we’re going to see Skepta rap as a dad, detailed in the artwork for the new album. Keen!
