Galantis and Passion Pit drop dance-pop magic, 'I Found U'

Genres collide, courtesy of Galantis and Passion Pit, who’ve coalesced talents on their new dance-pop driven single, “I Found U.” Passion Pit frontman, Michael Angelakos lends his inimitable, soprano range acquainted vocals to the track, constructing what is the first fresh Passion Pit material to gain a release since 2017’s Tremendous Sea of Love. While Angelakos has been traveling alongside his indietronic band members of late on Passion Pit’s Manners tour, which commemorates the 10th anniversary of the group’s first studio album, “I Found U” intimates that Passion Pit just might be ready to hop back into the new music making saddle.

“I Found U” is classic Galantis in terms of its construction. The single’s upward soaring chords exude an unbridled sense of electronic energy as the lyrical hook proves to be that of a sing-a-long conducive capacity.
