Bonobo drops new emotive slow burner ‘Linked’
British producer Bonobo has shared a dreamy new emotive burner dubbed ‘Linked’ that binds together all your favourite deep sounds and follows his always ascending trajectory of quaint but compelling releases.
On first listen to ‘Linked’ it feels overly familiar but fresh with bubbling chords, snappy percussion and a warm bassline washed together for a seamless 6-minute plus ride that skips between sonic club goodness and head down study mode… out now on careful curators Ninja Tune of course.
Those with a keen ear might have picked up the Brit lad playing it in a Boiler Room in February last year around the 11:30 minute mark!
The track actually follows the equally blissful ‘Ibrik’ that dropped in January for the new FABRICLIVE series and was the first new music since 2017 so might be a sign of bigger things to come from Bonobo!
Speaking of returns, Bonobo isn’t the only one with Hudson Mohawke sharing a new mixtape yesterday while also being treated to new albums from Hot Chip and Holy Ghost!.
