Over the last two albums, RÜFÜS DU SOL have established themselves as the knights of chilled, melodic house. The Australian trio are leading the charge of introducing these sounds to new ears with their unmistakable style and brilliant live performances.

Of course, they are far from the first group to wade into these sonic waters. There is actually another trio who has given dance music endless beautiful melodies in recent years, and they go by the title of Keinemusik. When that title is broken apart it consists of three artists: &ME, Adam Port, and Rampa.

Keinemusik is the label, party brand, and radio show that the three of them curate together, and on the most recent episode of Keinemusik radio, they hosted none other than RÜFÜS DU SOL for a hauntingly pulchritudinous mix. While these two trios are very similar in their expression of dance music, their aural identities are completely their own. A keen listener would never mistake a RÜFÜS DU SOL track for a Keinemusik track. And so, for their hour on Keinemusik radio, RÜFÜS DU SOL collected a series of cuts that exist within a hazy, fluid middle ground between their silky smooth beats and Keinemusik’s tribal influence.
