Watch Dave Grohl pay tribute to the late Keith Flint of The Prodigy at Reading and Leeds.
In yet another classy, heartfelt move by the ever-affable Dave Grohl, The Foo Fighters frontman and longtime Nirvana drummer, paid tribute to the late Keith Flint of The Prodigy during his performance at Reading and Leeds festivals.
“I wanna sing this one for Keith from The Prodigy,” Grohl proclaimed on the main stage of the legendary UK festival just before launching into “Run,” from the Foo Fighters 2017 album, Concrete and Gold.
The Prodigy performed at Reading and Leeds numerous times, dating as far back as the ’90s. With the impact of Flint’s death just months old, March of this past year, to be precise, the acknowledgement of the UK native surely struck a chord among the thousands of British attendees. Grohl finished off the song with a victorious howl:
“That’s for you, Keith!”
