Diplo announces set atop Sydney Harbour Bridge
The latest to join the ranks of DJs performing at both obscure and iconic locations is Diplo, who has just announced a set atop Sydney’s famed Harbour’s Bridge on September 26. This will be the first time ever an artist has played at this destination, making the occasion extra special. Those not able to attend in the flesh will find relief in knowing that the set will be live streamed and recorded for repeated listening and viewing.
Diplo’s upcoming Harbour’s Bridge debut is part of 21st anniversary of BridgeClimb, an organization that has helped over four million locals and tourist reach the landmark’s summit over its years in existence. The bridge itself turns 100 years-old in 2023.
Outside of his Sydney show, Diplo’s been maintaining quite the busy schedule. He hinted at Jack Ü’s return in July, and recently kicked off his Higher Ground label with a release from Walker & Royce. A label showcase is coming to Brooklyn on September 22.
