Premiere: Flosstradamus and Megatone 'Bounce Back' with hypnotic new trap cut
Flosstradamus may have just announced plans to take a break from the road for the foreseeable future, though Curt Cameruci’s touring hiatus doesn’t seem to be holding up his release plans at all. The Brooklyn transplant, by way of Chicago, broke the news to fans after a raucous Lost Lands performance, admitting a need to hang in one place and recenter after more than a decade on the road. With darker days on the move now behind him, Flosstradamus links up with Megatone for a rebound effort aptly titled “Bounce Back.”
“Sometimes you [have to] take some time to bounce back. When we created this song Megatone and myself were going through some hard times. We thought the vocal was fitting for our mindset at the time. The vocal got us stoked and made the song that much more hype for us!”
And, in a word—hype—is exactly what this new cut is. “Bounce Back” is hypnotic trap mayhem from front to back, complete with distorted siren breaks and knocking percussion arrangements. Expect this one to level crowds over the course of Flosstradamus’ final shows of the year, and reach for this one next time you’re looking for a pump-me-up. It will not disappoint.
