Cut Copy share dance floor belter ‘Cold Water’

Cut Copy, the godfathers of Australia’s indie electronic scene are back with a fantastically spirited original dubbed ‘Cold Water’.

This is the second cut (pun intended) of new music since the bands 2017 EP Haiku From Zero. The vibe of the song is like a combination of the classic Cut Copy of yesteryear mixed with some strangely familiar and nostalgic TEED style arpeggiator goodness and the kind of vocal obscurity you’d hear on a Hot Chip track.

For long time fans of the band, it’s fun to take a step back in time and hear about their involvement in the golden generation of Sydney’s nightlife in Kings Cross and of course, listen to arguably their most famous release, ‘Lights and Music‘.
