Camperdown Memorial Park is finally getting public toilets
One of the Inner Wests’ most famous hang out spots is finally getting public toilets built courtesy of the Inner West Council. After years of community advocacy, the Camperdown Memorial Park will give park dwellers some much needed relief with the final approval of the public toilets going through.
The pandemic really had added an extra layer of complexity to park picnics, with it not being so easy to just nip into the Courty for a quick piddle and longneck purchase. The long overdue infrastructure is scheduled to be completed by July this year costing half a million dollars, just in time for the impending spring time park hangs sans the holding it in.
