Innovative electronic UK duo Kai Campos and Dom Maker, better known as Mount Kimbie have shared four brilliant new portions of electronica. The release was split into two AA-sides, with each pair of tracks produced by a different member and dubbed MK 3.5.

Conveniently, Maker was behind the two vocal-led tracks “In Your Eyes” featuring slowthai and Danny Brown while Liv.E features on “a deities encore”.  Each is a dazzling showcase of drippy, sensual, bass-driven beats with trickling vocal cuts.

Campos delivered two instrumentals, “Q” and “Quartz”. Each is more of an experimental piece of up-tempo electronica for fans of Four Tet or Floating Points with clattery, jittery sounds. The complete release is a polarising set of tracks that demonstrates their intricate range.

Here’s hoping for a full-length release or even some solo projects in the not too distant future!
