Tinlicker, the Dutch duo comprised of Micha Heyboer and Jordi van Achteren, recently released their third studio album entitled ‘Cold Enough For Snow,’ which is now available on [PIAS] Electronique.
The LP consists of 13 tracks, featuring a variety of artistic collaborations. ‘Glasshouse’, a piece created with Julia Church, stands out. Church’s raw, emotive vocals pair with rapid breakbeat rhythms and melodic piano arpeggios, generating an atmosphere that balances upliftment and introspection.
The album features notable contributions, such as South African vocalist/producer Church on ‘Slipstream’, and the Boxer Rebellion’s Nathan Nicholson on ‘Strawberry’, ‘Crossroads’, and ‘Staring Down Sunset’. Other collaborations include ‘This Life’ with Editors’ Tom Smith, ‘Nothing To Lose’ featuring Circa Waves, and ‘Who I’m Not’ with Cloves. The album also explores new ground with the trance-infused ‘Nowhere To Go’, featuring Brian Molko.
In line with the album release, Tinlicker has announced a tour. This will take them back to the UK to perform at venues like Troxy London and the Marble Factory in Bristol. The tour will extend to numerous European cities, including Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, Dublin, Cologne, and Hamburg. A North American tour has also been announced, with stops planned in New York, LA, Detroit, Nashville, Houston, Toronto, and Montreal. Grab your tickets here.
