Industry pioneers Paul Oakenfold and Carl Cox have just released their latest collaboration, ‘Concentrate.’ This release is part of Perfecto Records’ 30th-anniversary celebration, ‘Perfecto 30.’

Despite their extensive history in the industry and multiple shared stages, ‘Concentrate’ marks the duo’s first track collaboration. The song skillfully blends their distinctive styles, showcasing the best of techno.

Oakenfold expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “It’s our way of paying homage to our history and to show where we’re at right now musically. Carl is a pioneering legend that was signed to the label so it marks a nice full circle moment. This is the first collaboration of many to come.”

Cox also conveyed his excitement, adding, “Working with Paul on this track was an absolute blast. ‘Concentrate’ represents the perfect synergy between our styles, and we can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

‘Concentrate’ is part of a year-long celebration, ‘Perfecto 30’, which includes special releases, remixes, collaborations, live events, and a documentary. Oakenfold will also embark on a series of DJ appearances across the US, UK, Ibiza, and Australia.

Perfecto Records, with its main imprint and four sub-labels, has been crucial in shaping the dance music scene. Oakenfold plans to return to the label’s original vision of creating underground club records, stating, “Perfecto is now a thirty-year-old brand: there are generations that have grown up with the sound… I’m just going to do what I’m good at and really love – and go out in a blaze of glory for my last dance.”
