Scarlet Veil release full length album ‘Every Fantasy’
On May 3rd, the captivating electronic duo Scarlet Veil released their long-awaited full album, “Every Fantasy,” marking the culmination of a meticulously orchestrated rollout that began back in December.
Over nearly five months, the duo captivated their audience with bi-weekly single releases, each adding a vibrant layer to the rich tapestry of their distinctive sound. Now fully-formed and released in its entirety, the album takes listeners on a journey through the imaginative and colorful worlds uniquely crafted by Scarlet Veil.
The album opens with lead single “Sunder” and followed by “Enshaedn,” “Strings,” “Repose,” “Kraken,” “Spirit Caller,” and the final, “Fervent Sigil.” Each piece contributing to the album’s complex whole, an ethereal soundscape with robust electronic rhythms, throbbing bass and cinematic sweeps. Tracks like “Spirit Caller” mesmerize with moody melodies and live drums, while “Kraken” offers a dark, immersive experience with layeres of atmospheric synths.
“Enshaedn” draws inspiration from fantasy literature, setting the thematic foundation of the album, whereas “Repose” revisits the haunting tones of witch house. “Strings” accelerates the pace, pushing the established motifs into new thematic realms.
