Charlotte de Witte Owns NYC With Viral Pop-Up Set

Techno titan Charlotte de Witte, with her massive following of 3.1 million Instagram followers, once again proved her dominance in the Electronic music scene by hosting a guerilla-style pop-up DJ set that shut down Orchard Street for the second year. This event not only showcased the raw energy of the Techno genre but it also captured the essence of New York City itself. Just before 7:00 PM, hundreds of New Yorkers flocked to the street to witness the spectacle.

Charlotte de Witte’s new single ‘How You Move‘ is a testament to her signature style of pushing boundaries, and it is the second revelation from her highly-anticipated Roar EP, which arrived on vinyl on June 20th. The block party on Orchard Street was in tandem with the EP release, solidifying de Witte’s status as a force to be reckoned with in the Electronic music world.
