BLOND:ISH debuts on Defected Records with ‘The Cure’

Canadian DJ, producer, and environmental advocate, BLOND:ISH, has debuted on Defected Records with ‘The Cure,’ a collaboration with rising UK talent, KeeQ.

BLOND:ISH, known for her sun-soaked, Latin-style DJ sets, has successfully blended her style with KeeQ’s tribal and emotive elements. This balance is further enriched by Chloe Paige’s distinct vocals, which intertwine with the hypnotic rhythms and deep bassline.

In discussing her creative process, BLOND:ISH shared, “I’ve been writing all my music in LA over the past year for my album, always starting with big chord progressions. I needed a break from that to create a club banger for my sets, so I got some grooves going with KeeQ, and then Chloe Paige added her amazing vocals, bringing a powerful female touch to those peak moments of the night.”
