ALOK Drops Unreleased Track & Records Music Video at Tomorrowland Mainstage
Last Saturday (20th), Alok performed for the sold-out crowd at Tomorrowland Belgium. On the main stage, the Brazilian artist kicked off the approximately one-hour show with a setlist that included hits like “Deep Down” and “Car Keys,” as well as the recently released track “Summer’s Back,” which is also the name of his European tour.
The performance, which could be watched in high definition on the official Tomorrowland website, featured a live music video recording, complete with behind-the-scenes footage of the festival. The track “Allein, Allein” was chosen by the event organizers to be one of the releases by Tomorrowland’s official label, scheduled to be available on the 26th.
“Let’s immortalize this moment. Let’s spread the love!” said Alok. It’s worth noting that “Allein, Allein” was the last song played at the Brazil edition of the festival last year, marking the unprecedented fact of Alok being the first Brazilian to close the marathon of shows at what is considered the world’s largest electronic music festival. Surprisingly, the artist played “Heat” for the first time, an unreleased track.
The outfit Alok chose for his performance came directly from London and was designed by Harri, a designer who has been gaining attention in the fashion and show business industries for his creative spirit in playing with shapes and materials.
Near the end of the show, Alok performed a celebratory medley for Tomorrowland’s 20th anniversary, featuring timeless hits in new versions, including “Apologize” by One Republic, “Heroes” by Alesso, and “Don’t You Worry Child” by Swedish House Mafia.
