Monkey Maffia, one half of Wighnomy Brothers, has passed away

On September 16th.

German artist Sören Bodner, also known as Monkey Maffia, has died.

The news was confirmed by Freude Am Tanzen, a label where the artist had previously released music. The cause of death has not been revealed.

Bodner was widely recognized as one half of the Wighnomy Brothers, alongside Robag Wruhme. The pair’s music was featured on labels such as BPitch, Kompakt, and Ghostly International. The artist’s solo projects as Monkey Maffia were primarily released through Freude Am Tanzen.
