Another milestone has been hit by Avicci post-mortem. One of his most iconic tracks ‘Levels’ hit 1 Billion streams on Spotify. It marks his 6th track to do so. ‘Levels’ joins an impressive list to achieve this incredible feat.

‘Hey Brother’ hit one billion streams in May and ‘Wake Me Up’ reached two billion last August. ‘The Nights’, ‘Waiting For Love’, and ‘Without You’ have also all received this accolade. Avicii’s Instagram announced the news this week and had this to say:

“This iconic track played a pivotal role not only for Avicii but for the history of EDM – remaining a timeless anthem that transcends generations and continues to captivate audiences worldwide”

The new Avicci documentary will explore Tim Bergling’s life like never before. Premiering at New York’s Tribeca Film Festival in April, Avicii – I’m Tim, goes through his own words, witnessing the journey of a shy but prodigious musical talent who would soon become one of the defining artists of his generation.
