Deathpact Releases New Single “GATEKEEPER”
Shrouded in darkness, but born from the light, Deathpact serves to reconfigure how we think about ourselves and the universe around us – what is the goal of art? Publicly unveiled in 2018 the Deathpact project enveloped the electronic music scene with genre bending original releases to successive collaborations with electronic music greats. Deathpact is much more nuanced than their undeniable music, they are curators of time and experience with each moment buried deeper and deeper into an ever-evolving puzzle. Deathpact has and will remain an anonymous harbinger of forward-thinking art and music.
A leader in precision crafted electronic music, Deathpact recently announced details of its FROM DARKNESS, COMES LIGHT 2025 tour. Coming up next, the project returns with “GATEKEEPER,” a powerful new single making a cryptic nod to Deathpact’s next chapter FROM LIGHT set to arrive in 2025.
“GATEKEEPER” which has been one of the most in demand IDs as the intro to their materializations (live shows) since it was debuted at Mission Ballroom in Denver this past June–stamps a new phase for the Deathpact project. Bells, horns and a menacing vocal beckoning “I hope you see the light” sets the track in motion as a heavy bassline follows. The sonic journey continues with a layer of angelic vocals passing through a low key hip-hop beat. The “GATEKEEPER” dialogue is added throughout for an eerie dramatic effect. “GATEKEEPER” is out now on all mayor streaming platforms.
