DJ Koze has announced his new album entitled ‘Music Can Hear Us,’ scheduled for release on April 4th, 2025 through Pampa Records. The news comes with the LP’s lead single ‘Pure Love,’ featuring the distinctive vocals of Blur and Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn.

The collaboration began after a chance meeting between the two artists at Peru’s Maras salt mines. The resulting track seamlessly blends Koze’s production style with Albarn’s ethereal vocals.

‘Music Can Hear Us’ marks DJ Koze’s first full-length release since his 2018 album ‘Knock Knock.’ This new 64-minute  musical journey promises to immerse listeners in meticulously crafted soundscapes.

Reflecting on the collaborative process, Albarn shares: “This tune has been through a profound metamorphosis over the last few years. I loved it as an egg, I loved it as a caterpillar, I loved it as a pupa, and I still love it.”

DJ Koze echoes the sentiment of patient artistry: “In a fashion of proper slow cooking and letting go, we finally came up with this lovely song. If you’re in a hurry, go slowly, as they say.”
