MAXI MERAKI, Dennis Cruz, Tripolism, Massimiliano Pagliara, & More Remix WhoMadeWho’s ‘Kiss & Forget’ LP

Following a year brimming with critical acclaim and industry recognition, WhoMadeWho shares a comprehensive remix package for their eighth studio album Kiss & Forget. The collection unites established electronic music veterans with emerging talent, offering fresh perspectives on the band’s latest musical opus.

Leading the package is rising Belgian talent MAXI MERAKI’s interpretation of “Saturday”. Known for his appearances at Tomorrowland and recent breakthrough US tour, Meraki brings his signature bright tones to the remix, transforming the downtempo and ambient soundscapes of the original into a melodic masterpiece.

“I poured my heart into this Saturday remix, blending my soul and creativity. It’s not just a remix – it’s me, shared through WhoMadeWho’s beat.” – Meraki.

The remix album introduces several exclusive new interpretations. A supergroup collaboration between Selim Sivade, BARON, Meloko, and Konvex transforms “Sweet Cuddles” into a deep, groove-driven journey. London-based Rockin Moroccin infuses their collaboration with Egyptian singer/songwriter nour, “A3LA,” with his distinctive blend of melodic house and Middle Eastern influences. Copenhagen’s own Tripolism, fresh off their Ultra Records success, delivers a compelling take on “You Belong To No-One”, while Spanish house music stalwart Dennis Cruz offers his rhythmic perspective on “Sweet Cuddles”. Portuguese producer Xinobi teams up with French-Malian-Senegalese artist AWEN for a distinctive take on “Bedside”, merging Xinobi’s indie-electronic sensibilities with AWEN’s unique Afro-house influences and powerful vocals to create a cross-cultural electronic cut, while Berlin-based producer & Panorama Bar resident Massimiliano Pagliara brings his analog-driven sound to “You Belong To No-One”.

These new remixes join an already impressive collection of interpretations released throughout the year. RÜFÜS DU SOL’s globally acclaimed remix of “Miracle” with Adriatique, Mind Against & Dyzen’s take on “Children”, and CamelPhat’s version of “Love Will Save Me” featuring RY X have dominated dancefloors worldwide. Tel Aviv’s Adam Ten’s remix of “Kiss Me Hard” became a staple in WhoMadeWho’s famous hybrid DJ sets at major festivals including Tomorrowland and Burning Man, while French deep house producer Alex Wann’s interpretation of “Heartless”, WhoMadeWho’s collaboration with Kölsch, has become one of the most streamed remixes from the album run.

The remix collection emerges at the peak of an extraordinary chapter for WhoMadeWho. Throughout 2024, the Danish trio has evolved far beyond their origins, amassing several awards and accolades for their revolutionary live experience. Their groundbreaking stage production, conceived with architectural powerhouse Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and brought to life through visuals by flora&faunavisions, EyeMix Studio, and Christopher Mulligan, has transformed venues into immersive wonderlands from New York to Santiago de Chile. Kiss & Forget, their eighth studio album, stands as a testament to the power of artistic collaboration, uniting diverse creative forces to craft both a sonic and visual masterpiece. The album transcends typical genre constraints through masterful collaborations with Kölsch, RY X, Adriatique, Blue Hawaii, and nour, while its visual counterpart, now streaming on YouTube, sees Berlin-based director Thomas Kuhn and creative director and photographer Polina Vinogradova weave a mesmerizing narrative that explores the transient nature of human connection, youth, and memory – themes that echo throughout both the original album and the remixes. Looking ahead to 2025, WhoMadeWho prepares to push their artistic boundaries even further with their ‘Kiss & Forget’ live album tour, including confirmed stops at Paris’s Olympia and London’s iconic Roundhouse.

The 12-track collection is available now across all digital streaming platforms. Additionally, the seven new exclusive remixes will be split across two EPs designed specifically for electronic music stores, with EP I out today and EP II following on December 20th.
