Premiere: SCRIPT, JV convert awaited ID into Experts Only-backed release, ‘Flex My Ice’
One of Dancing Astronaut‘s most-anticipated IDs of 2025 is about to receive an official release. SCRIPT and JV — two of melodic techno’s quickest-rising stars — have joined forces on their ID-turned—Experts Only single, “Flex My Ice.” And it had already made waves across the live circuit, earning support from dance music heavyweights like Tiësto, Korolova, Mathame, and more. But its momentum emphatically skyrocketed after John Summit unleashed it during his Proper NYE set at San Diego’s Petco Park.
SCRIPT has been on a meteoric rise in the melodic techno scene dating back to the release of “On The Low“—the first release under his rebranded moniker—which was crowned the most-played ID of Ultra‘s 2024 edition. A former Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch and a staple in the Afterlife circuit, SCRIPT has also delivered official remixes for industry titans CamelPhat and Vintage Culture.
Meanwhile, South African-born talent JV has quickly made a name for himself with back-to-back high profile releases, with “Flex My Ice” following his recent collaboration with Korolova from this past week on Tomorrowland Music, “Keep It Real.”
“Flex My Ice” is out everywhere via Experts Only on February 14, but it can be streamed in full a day early, exclusively on Dancing Astronaut.
