Rob Tirea concludes emotional arc with ‘Universal Jest’

LA-based producer and songwriter Rob Tirea has released his ‘Universal Jest’ EP, a four-track collection marking the culmination of a carefully constructed artistic journey. Following a trio of singles, the full project is now available via Too Future.

Blending indie pop and alternative dance influences, ‘Universal Jest’ explores themes of connection, loss, and existential paradox. Each track features Tirea’s distinctive vocals layered over organic instrumentation and refined electronic production, highlighting his growth as both a songwriter and producer.

“‘Universal Jest’ is a soundtrack to life being both beautiful and equally absurd,” shares Tirea. “There’s no rulebook here, just raw moments, sharp edges, and a whole lot of truth.”

From the opening plea for connection in ‘Give Me Love Give Me Light’ to the intimate unraveling of ‘How Do I Love You Anymore’, the EP captures emotional depth through layered arrangements and Tirea’s signature vocals.

A full-length live performance video—featuring string players Nicole Garcia and Michelle Rearick—will accompany the release, offering a cinematic visual counterpart.
