Tim Bergling’s team has confirmed a posthumous Avicii album will be released in June of 2019. Its first single, “SOS,” is due on April 10, and all proceeds from the album will be donated to to non-profit in his name. ‘

According to the album’s press release, Bergling had nearly completed the project at the time of his death on April 20, 2018. He’d left behind enough text messages and notes on his work to allow his collaborators to carry the LP on in his name and “as close to his vision as possible.” It will be titled TIM.

Stories was Avicii’s last project, and offered a more intimate look into his mind through his artistry. His team had yet to make a decision on whether or not to release a posthumous project when he passed away.
