A-SHO digs into a funky dance-pop groove on debut single, 'Naked'

A new electronic entity is making his way straight out of the ‘6’ to streamers’ speakers. The saying goes “actions speak louder than words,” and with the release of his first solo single, Toronto-based producer, A-SHO, brands himself a noteworthy newcomer to the dance scene.

Out A-SHO’s recently minted artist collective and indie label, sadboy records, “Naked” digs into an effervescent dance-pop groove with plenty of playful flippancy–and funk. The track’s vocal is a sleek complement to the metallic rhythm of the beat. “Naked” isn’t A-SHO’s first flirtation with a production poised for hit status: 2017’s “Feel Something” collected more than one-million Spotify streams, and quickly secured a space within Canadian radio’s Top 40 chart.
