A Study Reveals That Avicii’s Songs Help Fitness Freaks In Better Performance

A new study posted by the prestigious University of Edinburgh shows how specific tracks can help fitness enthusiasts with combating mental fatigue while exercising. One of these many tracks was the EDM legend’s projects.

The research was performed on eighteen different people who all were fitness freaks.

The research showed how music could positively impact the performance of runners, motivating them when needed.

“This positive impact of self-selected music could help people to maintain better the quality and beneficial impact of their exercise sessions,” explained Dr. Shaun Philips from the University of Edinburgh.

The study used Avicii’s 2013 mega-hit “Addicted To You,” along with Kanye West’s “Power,” Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger,” and A$ap Rocky’s “Every day.”
