A-Trak shares ridiculous one-take, genre-defying mix
Absolute mad man A-Trak has shared a new mix for his ‘Cut It Out!’ series, his third in-fact and is jammed full of unreleased tunes from new and old heads including a collaboration with Australian producer Loods – wut!
The hour plus long mix is in familiar A-Trak style being recorded in just one take and reflects the skills he’s picked up along the way having DJ’d for well over a decade and playing countless parties and festivals around the world.
How does the mix go? Straight fire as it stomps through bashy electro cuts from Boys Noize to industrial techno bits and pieces from Floating Points and Daphni as well large slabs of ploddy house goodness including that collaboration with Loods.
He isn’t the only Australian artist that got a look in with cuts from Herzolyde and Ninajirachi also finding themselves in the folds of the mix.
