Amelie Lens delivers stomping three-track techno package, 'Hypnotized' [Stream] – EDM All Day
Belgium’s Amelie Lens is one of the most swiftly ascending names in techno. Last year, she nearly eclipsed Festicket’s list for most festivals played in 2018 of any artist worldwide, rounding out at 27, just behind fellow techno talent, Nina Kraviz (35 festivals). That number grows even more telling when considering Lens clocked in just four festival appearances in all of 2017.
As torrential in the studio as she is behind the decks across the international festival front, Lens has just delivered her latest EP, Hypnotized, packed with two original tracks, and a remix from fellow Belgians, Joyhauser. The galloping techno cuts comprise Lens’ fourth release through the Berlin-based Second State. Hypnotized is Lens’ first solo release of 2019. She appeared on world-renowned techno trove, Drumcode, earlier this year with two Adam Beyer “Teach Me” cuts in hand.
