For the French duo’s first-ever release on Black Book Records, the CUFF label bosses join fellow French producer, HUGEL, to craft an R-rated EP that’s brimming with bravado. The merciless pair of club weapons is aptly accompanied by a razor-sharp treatment of “F*KINASTY” by UK tastemaker SOSA, whose minimal tech edit oozes an inimitable confidence.
Mining the musical spectrum and taking inspiration from early house, 80’s hip-house, and tech house, Amine Edge & DANCE imbue the upcoming EP with their own cross-genre blend, flexing their signature knack for the broody banger. Their previous releases, which have been featured across imprints like Hot Creations, Defected Records, and more, have consistently swept at the charts, laddering up into international tour dates across Brazil, Europe, the UK, and Australia for this year’s summer circuit. HUGEL equally shows no signs of slowing down in 2024, with sold-out shows at venerated venues across the US including Club Space Miami, Superior Ingredients in NYC, and the famed Academy in Los Angeles. Upcoming performances at EDC Las Vegas and Beyond Wonderland Chicago give F*KINASTY / Look Alright the perfect testing ground before entering club rotation in Ibiza, with HUGEL’s residencies at Pacha and Ushuaia this summer.
