A GoFundMe campaign has launched for Ashley Beedle, the renowned UK DJ and producer facing severe health challenges. Beedle, a 30-year veteran of the music industry, has battled Stage 4 prostate cancer for four years. Recent medical complications have significantly impacted his life.

In November 2023, Beedle suffered a severe brain bleed and seizure. This was followed by a major stroke during critical surgery in February 2024. These events have left him with limited mobility on his right side and temporarily affected his speech. Despite these setbacks, the artist’s resilience shines through as he faces his challenges with remarkable determination and humor.

The campaign aims to raise £50,000 to support Beedle’s ongoing care and rehabilitation. These funds will provide essential resources such as private physiotherapy, wheelchair-friendly furniture, and a specialized hospital bed for home use. Currently, he resides in a nursing home while awaiting suitable assisted living accommodation.

Beedle has significantly influenced UK dance music through his work with X-Press 2, Black Science Orchestra, and The Ballistic Brothers. His remixes include hits like Bob Marley’s ‘Stand Up, Jamrock’ and Elton John’s ‘Are You Ready for Love.’ Despite his health challenges, Beedle continues creating—a Primal Scream remix is due in Autumn 2024.

The music community has shown strong support for him, organizing fundraising events. Beedle sees himself as a survivor, not a victim, and expresses deep gratitude to all contributors. His resilience continues to define both his career and personal life.
