Aussie DJs come together for Make It Rain festival in support of Australian fire relief efforts

News of the bushfires tearing through Australia has broken hearts across the globe, as so many lives, wildlife, and land have been deeply affected by the tragedy. Relief efforts have sprung up around the world, and the latest to join the cause is the newly announced Make it Rain festival.

The festival, slated for January 29 in Los Angeles, consists of entirely Australian artists, including Nina Las Vegas, What So Not, Vassy, PNAU and many more. Proceeds from the event will go to support Red Cross Australia, GIVIT, and NSW Wildlife Council. The event organizers said the following in a press release:

“The feeling of complete helplessness got too much for us here in LA, and we knew we needed to channel our energy into something bigger than ourselves. We’re stoked to see how the dance music community has been so supportive of this cause and we look forward to seeing our friends and family at Academy on January 29th,”
