Aussie producer Luudes ‘Down Under’ goes global, scores hottest track on BBC
Luudes hefty flip of iconic Aussie track “Down Under” by 70s/80s band Men At Work has taken over the world shooting up Spotify viral tracks globally and earning major accolades.
What started out as a fun remix turned into a full-blown original track that even enlisted the original singer Colin Hay for that fist-pumping chorus “Can you hear, can you hear the thunder, you better run, you’d better take cover”.
The flip takes some of the original charms but gives it a rippling wonky bassline while peppering it with stabby flutes that’ll bring any dancefloor to its knees!
That isn’t all either with BBC Radio 1 host Charlie Hedges crowning it the ‘Hottest Record’ in the world and understandably so.
