Barcelona Host A Trial Party Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

March 27: A trial music festival took place in Barcelona Spain, where the Spanish Indie-Pop band “Love Of Lesbian” performed in front of a 5000 crowd.

The festival was titled: Festivals per la Cultura Segura, which translates to Festivals for Safe Culture.

One of the event organizers commented: “a small but important step toward normality.”

Prior to starting the party, attendees were tested additionally, they were all obliged to wear FFP2 masks. To be extra cautious, the event was divided into different zones, each having 1,800 people. Those with heart disease, cancer, or who have been in touch with a COVID positive person did not sign up for the gig. 

In less than an hour after announcing the event, the tickets were all sold out. 

This is not the first event in Europe to be hosted amid the Covid19 pandemic, Netherlands also hosted similar trial concerts.
