Be the first to stream Holy Ghost!’s new album ‘Work’

American synth-pop duo Holy Ghost! are back in a big way with the release of their third studio album ‘Work’ following the brilliant ‘Dynamics’ LP release in 2013 and their self-titled release Holy Ghost!’ way back in 2011 when we first got a taste of their dazzling and warm italo-house grooves.

The two were also part of a short lived Hip-Hop project dubbed Automato with the debut album produced by none other than LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy and Tim Goldsworthy of DFA… as you do.

As you can tell, these dudes have major staying power and know a thing or two about composing timeless music that sounds as current today as it did on release so many years ago. Case in point “Hold On” and their Phoenix ‘Lisztomania’ remix will forever remain front and centre.

Skip right forward to the last couple of years and we’ve had scattered work from the pair with “Escape From Los Angeles” and “Nicky Buckingham” both reminders of their knack for thoughtful and catchy sounds, the later of which appear on the latest LP.

The new album is what you’d expect from two big ole music nerds with plenty of analog goodness bound to Erik’s forever vocals  bustling from the 12-track album with personal favourites the moodier “Heaven Knows Whats” and instant classic “Do This”.
