Andy Ferguson and Matt McBriar of Bicep have announced their second release, ‘CHROMA 002 L.A.V.A,’ under their label, CHROMA. This label is a platform for underground, club-centric productions.

This track, a collaboration with techno artist Benjamin Damage, reflects CHROMA’s philosophy of covering everything “from Acid to Alkaline.” The artists, collectively known as B.D.B, have a history of collaborations dating back to 2013.

‘L.A.V.A’ originated from jam sessions in London and evolved with the addition of Clara’s vocals. The CHROMA project also includes curated events, a Bicep AV/DJ show, and a unique visual identity. Its debut single, ‘CHROMA 001 HELIUM,’ received widespread support and was named BBC Radio 1’s ‘Hottest Record.’

“This is one of several tracks we’ll be releasing with Ben this year,” explained Bicep. “It was recorded over several jam sessions last year with Ben at our studio in London. We always find it exciting to come together with no preconceived ideas, free to experiment and see what emerges from the sessions. Initially, this track was a tougher and straighter tune, which slowly developed into ‘L.A.V.A’ with the addition of Clara’s killer vocals! There’s much more to come!”

Bicep recently announced Bicep Presents CHROMA events in London’s Finsbury Park and Brighton Beach. These performances mix DJ and live elements, enabling Bicep to experiment and create harmony between the visual and musical components. Find Bicep tour dates here.
