Brooklyn Mirage Teases Big Changes & New Design for 2025

Avant Gardner is gearing up to celebrate its 10th anniversary and to come along with it – upgrades to the venue in many aspects. Brooklyn Mirage will be receiving a facelift with a focus on innovation, community, and improved guest experiences. Beyond the facelift, there is a bottom-up approach to rethinking the entire experience at Avant Gardner and Brooklyn Mirage from its new CEO, Josh Wyatt.
In his official statement, Josh puts a strong emphasis that Avant Gardner only exists due to the support of the local community, guests, artists, and music community. He also addressed that in order to improve the overall experience for guests, the venue will take on new changes based off of a review of guest feedback and industry research.
Here are all the improvements proposed:
Neighborhood Safety: While we cannot control what happens beyond our venue, we have added safety patrol cars and ambassadors to monitor and assist guests in need.
Room to Dance: As part of our commitment to the comfort of our guests, we are reevaluating crowd flow, increasing the size of our dancefloor, and creating new spaces with direct sightlines throughout the venue.
Enhanced Sound Quality: The Brooklyn Mirage will be upgraded to a state of the art Line-Array sound system from the industry-leading brand L-Acoustics to provide the best acoustic experience at any open air venue.
Venue Staff and Security: You will see more venue ambassadors throughout Avant Gardner ready to make your night special alongside a diverse security team that creates an environment of comfort for all guests. Your safety and comfort remains our top priority and we are committed to ensuring that every interaction with staff and security maintains a high level of respect for you.
Enhanced Hospitality: Including expanded culinary and beverage moments, lounges to unwind, and experiential spaces to explore including the all important side quests.
Arrival & Drop-Off: Improved pickup and drop off areas to ensure your arrival experience is safe and efficient, especially late at night.
Cell Phone Coverage: With our local city officials, we have successfully gained the ability to add additional wifi and cellular towers, which will improve coverage as early as this winter.
The venue has recently announced a series of major upgrades and enhancements, promising an even more immersive and unforgettable experience for all. With the addition of new hospitality areas, expanded dance floors, and improved security measures, Avant Gardner is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all. Opening week of the Mirage will take place in May 2025 with Sara Landry already announced as one of the headlining acts during the weekend.
