Brunch Electronik Festival returns to Barcelona for its second edition

After its successful 2023 launch, The Brunch Electronik Festival is set to return from August 9th to 11th, 2024. This event will be spread across three venues in the city of Barcelona, featuring renowned artists like Black Coffee, Fatboy Slim, Jayda G, Boris Brejcha, Royksopp, and Vintage Culture.

The festival will be held at the seaside Parc Del Fòrum, Jardins Joan Brossa, and Nitsa Club. These venues will host a mix of pioneering electronic music, live shows, and emerging artists on five stages.

This year, the festival will spotlight techno, house, tech house, melodic, and progressive techno genres. Over 80 influential figures in electronic music, including Sasha & John Digweed, Palms Trax, Boris Brejcha, Jamie Jones, Polo & Pan, Helena Hauff, Brina Knauss, and Dixon b2b Hernan Cattaneo, WhoMadeWho (Live) will perform. The event will also feature live performances from bands such as The Blaze.

In addition to the music, the festival emphasizes community building, equality, and sustainability. It introduces measures to reduce waste and carbon emissions. The 2023 edition featured B! HUB, a space for eco-friendly initiatives. The festival also offers a wide range of activities, including food courts, stalls, art installations, and family entertainment.

As stated by the festival organizers, Brunch Electronik, “Joy is the spirit of happiness and celebration that we aim to convey through friendship and avant-garde electronic music in a unique setting.”
