Carl Cox needs no introduction, the man is simply a god when it comes to the craft DJing, which is why he was chosen for the first Essential Mix for 2018.

The renowned selector is no stranger to the Essential Mix studios, in fact he has partaken in the series a whopping 45 times over the span his career. Who better to reel in the new year, right?

For what is their 25th year in existence (round applause), it seems apt to have Carl Cox start things f on the right foot.
