Celebrating “Silhouettes’” 9th birthday

Avicii’s baby, “Silhouettes,” has turned 9 this year!

The track which gained quiet momentum now has over 150 million streams. After a year of the release of the song, Avicci released the critically acclaimed “Wake Me Up,” which marked a new beginning for the late icon.

“Silhouettes” was released on April 28 in 2012, where the artist set his bar pretty high. 

The track starts with the alluring vocals of a girl which later gets accompanied by lively and pulsating beats. With every dropped beat Avicii takes the listeners on a hypnotic trip, making you feel like you are floating on the clouds. 

The track has a visual production as well, in which it talks about two lovers.
