Celebrating The Life Of The EDM DJ and Producer i_o

Garrett Falls Lockhart, known as i_o, collaborated with famous names like Grimes. He passed away in November 2020, at the age of 30. 

Following four months after the tragic news of his death; the EDM scene still continues to mourn the loss through replying to his latest Instagram post. It is still unclear who posted the latest post, but fans flooded the post with tributes.

A user commented: “I’m crying right now, he was my favorite I love and will. I_o R.I.P. love and miss you.” Another added: “444 forever.”

Garrett was originally from Washington DC, he then moved to Los Angeles to join the electronic music scene. He released three EPs, including the album “444.” 

The news of his death was shared on social media stating:  

“This extremely talented spirit taught us that even if nothing matters, you can still lead with love. Garrett’s truth and soul lives on through the music he shared.”
