Chance the Rapper growing 'Hope,' a musical film set in Chicago – EDM All Day

Though music is his forte, Chance the Rapper has been recognized to dabble within the visible arts. From the Vice authentic brief Mr. Happy to his current work within the A24 movie Slice, the Chicago artist persistently reveals his aptitude for the massive display screen. Taking his skills behind the scenes this time, it has simply been introduced that Chance the Rapper will function one of many lead producers within the upcoming movie-musical, Hope.

Following a bunch of youngsters who flip to artwork for activism in Chicago, the film shall be soundtracked by Chance’s longtime collaborator Nico Segal (previously generally known as Donnie Trumpet and member of the Social Experiment). Though no launch date has been introduced, Chance shall be partnering with a group of writers, producer, and administrators who’ve had a hand in Straight Outta Compton, Empire, and The Leftovers, in addition to supervisor Pat Corcoran.
