Check Out The Latest Initiative Which Aims At Arming Homeless Communities With DJ-ing Skills

A new initiative aims at arming underprivileged communities in Glasgow, Scotland, with workshops about the technical aspects involved in music production.

The mastermind behind this project is a start-up enterprise called “Turn The Tables” which aims at training and supporting homeless communities in Glasgow so they, in their turn, can work and excel in the job market. Many have shown support for the project including techno duo Slam and Nightwave, to mention a few.

The project will be divided into three main phases: first, they will learn about the foundations then they will be taught more sophisticated knowledge. Finally, they will have a chance to display their skills and the things they learned, through a live stream performance.

“Hopefully we can give knowledge, understanding, and inspiration to empower those who need it most for this worthy cause,” Slam stated.
