Chrome Sparks lends production to Khalid's groovy new track, 'Up All Night' – EDM All Day
R&B singer Khalid has reappeared with another chart sensation, “Up All Night,” a plucky mood-setter that he wrote and recorded while on his current Free Spirit world tour. He enlisted both Jamil “Digi” Chammas and electronic producer Jeremy “Chrome Sparks” Malvin as co-writers and producers for the track.
Khalid’s silky voice glides over the entirety of the light-footed pop track. Characteristic of Sparks’ production, the track’s laidback feel and smooth, rhythmic percussion elements make it great for whimsical musing and driving late night alike. The song swiftly topped the number one spot on the Apple Music R&B streaming chart earlier this week—surely to no one’s surprise.
The “Young Dumb & Broke” singing sensation has also been trying exciting things in the digital space as of late, providing fans with the opportunity to watch his O2 London show in virtual reality MelodyVR. To continue promotion of the album of the same name, Khalid continues his international Free Spirit tour with stops in New Zealand and Australia through December 4.
