Coachella adds brand new Quasar Stage to the 2024 lineup
If the Coachella 2024 couldn’t get any better, Goldenvoice has certainly outdone themselves once again. After a historic amount of electronic bookings were announced in 2023, Coachella has decided to bring six more coveted electronic performances to a new stage. Taking over the grounds of the old Sahara tent, the Quasar Stage will include two gigantic LED walls, making for ideal production for electronic dance music sets. With all headlining sets guaranteed for three hours or more, attendees are in for a treat with specially curated sets that previously could only be experienced at a club.
Weekend 1 starts off strong on Friday with Honey Dijon and Green Velvet, two of house music’s most established artists. Michael Bibi makes his triumphant return to the United States after winning an incredible battle against CNS Lymphoma. Finishing off the weekend is the experimental trio of Jamie XX, Floating Points, and Daphni. The following weekend includes unique DJ sets from RÜFÜS DU SOL and Eric Prydz back-to-back Anyma. Closing out the weekend is long time Coachella veteran Diplo playing with one of the hottest DJs in house music, Mau P. Hear more from Goldenvoice talent buyer, Jenn Yacoubian, below.
