On December 5th, 2024, Cora Novoa will release ‘ACT III’, the final installment of her Mental Diary series. This avant-garde album promises a distinct sonic journey, exploring contemporary themes through nine atmospheric tracks, focusing on AI, sustainability, and community. The album package includes three singles, two videos, six new tracks, and limited-edition merchandise.

To celebrate this upcoming release, Cora Novoa has curated a special top 10 list of must-hear tracks.

1. Jensen Interceptor & AMX – Werk iT

Jensen Interceptor is one of those prolific producers that never ceases to amaze me. This track is a collaboration with artist AMX, a strong electro track. It belongs to a very special release he put out this year called ‘Jensen & Friends’ where he released a good handful of collaborations with different producers. I think it’s a delicious release.”

2. Psyk & Orbe – Superconductor

“Two great Spanish artists that when they come together simply make magic. Both Psyk and Orbe are incredible producers, fine in production and mixing, and they take care of every detail of their songs in a surgical way. This track ‘Superconductor’ belongs to the EP ‘Atonal’ released this year. Mental Techno that takes you to another planet.”

3. Perc – Static feat. Sissel Wincent

‘The Cut Off’ was the last album released by Perc and it’s an incredible work. I love him as a producer and DJ, and above all that he is one of the few who continues to bet on long-release formats, which unfortunately are very much in disuse lately.”

4. Cora Novoa – Toma Toma

“It is the second single from my third studio album, which will be released on December 5th. It’s a track I’m especially proud of because it represents my current sound: hard-hitting, straight to the dancefloor, and with an industrial and techno sound.”

5. Aunty Rayzor – Nina

“One of those gifts of 2024 has been this first release of the African rapper Aunty Rayzor, which has been released on the label Nyege Nyege. For me, she is one of the revelation artists of this year with her mix of rap and electronica, along with her staging, which is pure fire.”

6. L.F.T. – Asche (Vox by Nils Fock)

“Electro, new wave, and a characteristic Lo-Fi sound, which never forgets the dancefloor. With this EP ‘Electric Vampire’ the Hamburg producer L.F.T. does it again on Pinkman records.

7. Linear System – Paranoid Control

Linear System has incredible versatility and as a producer, he knows how to translate his music quickly and effectively without losing his identity. He is undoubtedly one of my favorite producers.”

8. Alessandro Adriani – Spectres

“Everything Alessandro does is gold; he’s one of those rare 360-degree artists. He’s an excellent curator, what he does with his label Mannequin Records is incredible, and as a producer, he makes unique tracks like this ‘Spectres.’

9. Procombo – Hypersonic

“I’ve been playing this ‘Procombo’ track a lot lately. Raw techno that works perfectly at the peak time of the set.”

10. Izurzu – Axion Veil

“The first time I heard Izurzu’s productions, I fell in love. He is one of the best producers we have in the Spanish scene. And this EP released on Stale is simply brilliant.”
